Terms and Conditions
Effective date: May 1, 2026
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by
Doris Weiser – Wise Guide, Licensed Tour Guide,
Hauptstraße 8, 2511 Pfaffstätten, Austria (hereinafter referred to as the "Tour Guide").
They apply to all tours and services, regardless of whether they are provided to individuals, private groups, companies, schools, or other organizations.
Any deviating agreements must be made in writing.
2. Conclusion of Contract
A contract is concluded upon written or verbal booking confirmation by the Tour Guide.
Bookings can be made in particular by email or telephone.
By making a booking, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding.
3. Services
The scope of services is defined by the respective booking confirmation.
Changes to the itinerary (e.g. adjustments to the route or sequence of program items) are reserved, provided that the overall character of the tour is not significantly altered.
There is no entitlement to specific program points if external circumstances (e.g. weather, official orders, unforeseen closures) prevent them.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are in euros and, unless otherwise stated, include all applicable taxes.
Payment can be made:
-
in advance (via bank transfer), or
-
in cash on site, unless otherwise agreed.
In the event of late payment, the Tour Guide is entitled to charge statutory default interest.
5. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations must be made in writing (by email).
The following cancellation conditions apply:
-
up to 14 days before the scheduled date: free of charge
-
14 to 3 days before the date: 50% of the agreed fee
-
less than 72 hours before the date or in case of no-show: 100% of the agreed fee
For group bookings, the number of participants stated in the booking is used as the basis for calculation.
6. Cancellation or Interruption by the Tour Guide
The Tour Guide is entitled to cancel a tour for important reasons (e.g. illness, force majeure, official measures).
In such cases, any payments already made will be fully refunded.
Any further claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded.
7. Weather and Force Majeure
Tours generally take place in all weather conditions, unless there is a risk to participants.
Events of force majeure (e.g. extreme weather, strikes, official closures, safety risks) entitle both parties to withdraw from the contract. In such cases, there is no entitlement to compensation.
8. Liability
Participation in tours is at the participant’s own risk.
The Tour Guide is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent behavior.
Liability for material damage or consequential damage is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Parents or accompanying persons are responsible for minors under their supervision.
9. Conduct of Participants
Participants are required to follow the instructions of the Tour Guide and to behave in a way that does not endanger themselves or others.
In the event of gross misconduct, the Tour Guide reserves the right to exclude participants from the tour. No refund will be given in such cases.
10. Copyright
All materials, content, and concepts provided by the Tour Guide are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or shared without explicit permission.
11. Data Protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy on this website.
12. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
Austrian law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is the registered office of the Tour Guide.
13. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
